Balasana (Child’s Pose)

How to Practice:

Kneel and sit back on your heels. Inhale and stretch your spine upwards.

Exhale and fold forward, resting your forehead on the mat or cushion.

Arms may stretch forward or rest beside the body & keep breathing.

It is a counter pose after back bending asanas as it helps to relax & settle down.

Reflection:

Returning to this pose is returning home.

Rest is not escape; it is renewal.

In surrender, we rediscover trust.

Mother earth supports you without question, the breath softens without effort.

In this quiet folding inward, the mind begins to settle & the heart remembers its natural rhythm.

In humility, peace begins to bloom.
